Something New for 2012 !

Any player who wins, is beaten finalist or beaten semi finalist in any

competition held in The Weigh Inn Bar this year will be entered free

into a one day individual double in – double out competition with £500

prize money.  Winner £300 runner up £100 semis £50.  This applies to

“one day” competitions and “finals day” of any other tournament held

throughout the year.  This competition will be held after all

tournaments in 2012 have been completed.

 

 

 ”B” Players Championships

 

Finals: Sunday 4th March

 

Weigh Inn Bar Open Players Championship begins 19th

March and runs for 8 weeks .  Finals on a date TBA

Entry fee £6 per night.  Total prize fund = all entry fees

£500 added.

 

 ”The Gina Mc Cusker Memorial” Open Individual.

Sunday 1st April .

£10 entry fee prizefund £1000 guaranteed. Winner

£500.  Also 1st round losers competition.  Fundraiser

for “Gina’s Dream” Charity.  All welcome. 2.30pm

16 “A” players and 16 “B” players wanted for a ONE DAY blind draw 4 man team event. Each team will have 2 “A” players and 2 “B” players to be played on a Sunday, date to be arranged. Round robin format. £50 per team, prize fund entry fees + £ ? added. Contact if interested.

The Weigh Inn Bar Team of 8 players are now the

official World Record Holders for finishing a game of

1,000,001 in the least number of darts.  They smashed

the record which stood for 19 years with 885 darts to

spare. The record was 36,583 darts with an 82

average.  Our average 84.2.

The award below was presented by the Omagh Sports Forum in recognition of the achievement by The Weigh Inn Darts Team in breaking the Guinness World Record for the least number of darts to score 1,000,001.  A fitting tribute for the team effort.  Well done all.  the award was accepted on behalf of the team by M Taggart  Omagh and T Stoga Poland
